CALDWELL CITY ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
The City of Caldwell has begun its search for a new city administrator, following the announcement of the current one’s retirement.
City Administrator Johnny Price announced he would be retiring at a recent city council meeting, effective April 1st. The council started its search process on Tuesday, after calling a special meeting.
Price has said he would be willing to serve on a temporary basis with the city after his retirement date, to help with the transition. Mayor Norris McManus said Price will likely be hired in a part-time capacity to help oversee the new city hall construction project, until the city hires a new administrator.
Price has been the city’s administrator since late 2009, but he has also continued to serve as the city’s street superintendent since 1981.
