CALDWELL KOLACHE FESTIVAL CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19
One of the largest annual festivals across the Brazos Valley has been called off because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 36th Annual Kolache Festival in Caldwell, originally planned for September 12th, has been cancelled. Festival organizers say this is the first time in the event’s history that it has been cancelled.
Organizers said in a statement that COVID-19 has caused many uncertainties, and that they felt they could not plan such a large event with the possibility of Governor Greg Abbott shutting down mass gatherings the week of the festival.
