COLLEGE STATION SHOOTING UNDER INVESTIGATION

  

 

A suspect in a Friday night shooting is College Station is in custody.

22-year old Joshua Wynn of Universal City, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault on a public servant.

College Station Police responded just before 7:00 p.m. to Hensel Park in College Station after 911 calls said there were shots being fired.

One victim, is a 24-year-old male, is at a local hospital after being shot twice, according to police.

Police say Wynn also fired at a Deputy Constable who responded to the park. The deputy wasn’t injured and didn’t return fire. Authorities do not believe there is any threat to the public.

No identities of the victims have been released.
