COMMUNITY INVITED TO SEND-OFF SATURDAY FOR BRENHAM CUBS

As the Brenham Cub football team continues its playoff run, fans are invited to come out and show their support at a send-off this (Saturday) afternoon.

Fans should be standing down the road from the Kruse Field House at Brenham High School, in the open area near the softball fields, by 12:45 p.m.  The football team will depart for San Antonio at 1:30 p.m.

Homemade signs, pom-poms, and noisemakers are all encouraged to cheer on the Cubs as they head to the Alamodome to prepare to take on the Corpus Christi Calallen Wildcats in a Regional Semifinal matchup.

Kickoff at the Alamodome is set for 8 p.m.  KWHI will have live coverage starting with the pregame show at 7:30 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7, and kwhi.com.
