CUBETTES GO 1-1-1 ON FIRST DAY OF LEADOFF CLASSIC
The Brenham Cubettes won, lost, and tied on the first day of the Leadoff Classic in Brenham on Thursday. The Cubettes started off the day against PN-Groves and after the time limit was called on the first game it was a 6-6 tie. Then the Cubettes hit the time limit in game 2 as well, but were ahead on the scoreboard 6-4 over Clear Brook. Finally, in the nightcap, SA Brennan topped the Cubettes in 6 innings 4-3. The Cubettes will face Clear Creek tonight at 6;00p, pregame 5:40 on KWHI and KWHI.com.
