Washington County Chamber Kick-Off Ribbon Cutting for Brazos Valley Gives is Monday, October 2, at 10:00am at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

Washington County Genealogical Society meeting will be held Monday, October 2, 1:00pm at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.  The program for the meeting will be presented by Perry Gotcher, a descendant of one of the early Texas families.  The public is invited.

First Baptist Church Annual Poinsettia Fundraiser accepting orders Oct. 2nd - Oct. 19th.  Poinsettia's are $12 each.  Order from any First Baptist Church students.

Come join the Latium Volunteer Fire Department for National Night Out on October 3rd, starting at 6pm.  Enjoy hotdogs, hamburgers and goodie bags for the kids.  Come meet your neighbors and local firefighters.  The fire department is located at 12255 FM 389, on the corner of 389 and Sacred Hart Road.
