Souls Chapel AME Church will host the annual Family and Friends Day Worship Service on May 28, at 11am. Pastor Robert Mays of Cherry Chapel Baptist Church and congregation are the guests. Family, friends, neighbors and former members are invited to celebrate and fellowship. Rev. Patricia Robinson Graves is the pastor.
Washington County Veterans Association will host a program at the American Legion Post 48, on Monday, May 29, beginning at 11:00 am. Tickets for the barbecue chicken meal are available for drive-thru and dine in. Tickets can be purchased at Dan’s Meat Market, Felder’s Buy & Bye, K&M Grocery, Quick-Mart and Robert’s Service Station.
