The 23rd Annual Food for Families Food Drive gets underway tomorrow (Wednesday) at several locations across the Brazos Valley.

The effort, being put on by the Brazos Valley Food Bank and KBTX Media, will go to help the mobile food pantry eliminate hunger in the Brazos Valley.

Non-perishable food items and donations will be taken from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Brazos Center in Bryan, and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kimbro Center in Madisonville, Mid-South Synergy in Navasota, St. Mary’s Catholic Church Hall in Caldwell, the Hearne Railroad Depot in Hearne, and Navasota Valley Electric Co-op in Franklin.  Donations will stay in the county they are donated in.

KTEX-106’s Blake Hickerson will be at the Brazos Center and Mid-South Synergy in Navasota tomorrow morning, broadcasting live from the friendly country cruiser.
