Four Brenham High School graduates who were involved in Brenham FFA recently earned the highest degree that an FFA member can achieve.

At this year’s National FFA Convention, Reid Bentke, Taylor Klatte, Katie Murski and Allen Schwartz received their National FFA Degree.  Less than one percent of FFA members ever achieve this rank.

All four students are studying at Texas A&M University, and are expected to graduate with the Class of 2023.

Bentke is studying agriculture systems management in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering.

Klatte is majoring in animal science production, and is involved in Saddle and Sirloin, Texas Aggie Cattlewomen, Flee, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Junior Rodeo Committee, and Pre-Law Society.

Murski is a biomedical sciences major, and is co-director of Future Agriculture and Life Sciences Leaders.

Schwartz is an animal science major, is a member of Saddle and Sirloin, and works for Dr. Tryon Wickersham as a student worker.
