Gates open tomorrow (Thursday) night for the 20th Annual Lee County Fair in Giddings.

A full weekend of activities awaits visitors to the Lee County Fairgrounds, including the Charcoal Challenge BBQ Cook-off, a classic car show, various tournaments and contests, and plenty of vendors to choose from.

Denise Harlan of the fair committee says Thursday night will see the first of a packed entertainment lineup, along with the opening of the Mighty Thomas Carnival.

Harlan says Friday and Saturday will be full of things to do, as well.

In addition to the Tejano 281 Band, guests can look forward to Randall King on Friday, and the Original Triumphs, Abigail Taylor and Tracy Byrd on Saturday.
