LOCAL PLAYERS HONORED AT NATIONAL BASEBALL TOURNEY

Seven local baseball players, six Brenham Cub and a Burton Panther, have been named All-Tournament at the 17U BCS National Tournament in Ft. Meyers, Florida, last week.

Representing the Batter’s Box, Jake Olson, Ethan Weahterby, Ethan Jezierski and Parker Mason of Brenham, and Cash Callahan of Burton were named All-Tourney.  The Batter’s Box went 5-2-0 in the tournament.

Playing for the Brazos Valley Renegades, Garrison Weiss, Evan Aschenbeck and Jackson Corn were honored with All-Tournament selection.  The Renegades went 3-2-2 for the tourney.
