subHUB IMPLEMENTS NEW PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS; SECOND VACCINE DOSE APPOINTMENTS RESCHEDULED
The Regional Vaccination subHUB at the Washington County Expo has moved to a new registration process.

Starting on Friday, the subHUB, in collaboration with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), moved from telephone pre-registration to the SafeRestart Vaccine platform.
Officials at the subHUB say the platform, created and managed by GMR, is a purpose-built system that has been validated for managing the pre-registration, documentation, and reporting requirements of COVID-19 vaccine administration.
The HIPAA-compliant system guides users through entering their demographic and contact information, as well as their preferred communication method of text, email, or automated phone call.
Once pre-registration is complete, users will receive a success notification and an email informing them that they have been placed on the waiting list to receive the vaccine. The platform also automatically schedules users’ second-dose appointments and provides appointment reminders via their preferred contact method.
When vaccine doses are available, users receive an invitation to schedule their appointment date and time from the available options. They are also assigned a custom barcode or “ticket” for admission to the subHUB when they arrive for their appointment.
Due to the inclement weather across the state and potential delays in vaccine shipments because of icy roads, officials have rescheduled this upcoming week’s vaccinations. Anyone with appointments to receive their second vaccine dose on Wednesday, February 17th has been rescheduled to Monday, February 22nd. The appointment times will remain the same.
Further updates on the subHUB are available at www.localevent.info, and on the Facebook pages for the Washington County Office of Emergency Management and the City of Brenham.
