SUMMER HOURS BEGIN SOON FOR BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER
The Blue Bell Aquatic Center starts its summer schedule next week.
Starting Tuesday, May 28th, the Aquatic Center will see extended hours each day of the week for the indoor competition, indoor therapy and outdoor leisure pools.
Monday through Friday, the indoor pools will be open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., while the outdoor pool will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturday, all pools will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
The Aquatic Center will also see adjusted hours this Memorial Day weekend. Tomorrow (Friday), all pools will close at 1 p.m. Saturday, all pools will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., and Memorial Day from 1 to 4 p.m.
Also starting next week is the summer schedule of events at the Aquatic Center. Thursday, May 30th will see the first movie in the Floats-n-Flicks/Movies in the Park series: “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation”, sponsored by The Kids Klub of Brenham’s 1st Baptist Church. Gates will open for free admission and the movie at 8 p.m.
On June 1st, a Dolphin Swim Meet will be held at the Aquatic Center. The competition pool will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the therapy and leisure pools will open at 10 a.m.
