SUNDOWN SOCIAL RESCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 29TH
The annual Sundown Social, benefitting the Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site, has been rescheduled amid COVID-19 concerns.
The event, initially set for Saturday, April 25th, is now scheduled for Saturday, August 29th. It will still be held at the Rockin’ Star Ranch in Brenham.
This year’s social will honor two of the site’s greatest supporters: the late Mike and Nina Hopkins. The theme for this year’s event is “Stars over Texas”, while the featured entertainer will be Glen Templeton.
