TWO LOCAL HOOPSTERS NAMED ALL-STATE
Two local basketball standouts have been named All-State.
Teaira McCowan of the Brenham Cubettes and Keyanna Kincade of the Burton Lady Panthers were named All-State by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
McCowan helped the Cubettes win the District 19/5A Campionship as she averaged 19.3 points, 17.1 rebounds and 4 blocked shots per game.
Kincade helped lead the Lady Panthers to their first trip to the playoffs in twenty years, averaging 14.3 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game.
