The city issued a $290,000 permit to Global Facility Management and Construction for the tenant buildout of a T-Mobile store.  Work is contracted to Collier Construction.

City of Brenham Development Services Director Stephanie Doland said the T-Mobile will go inside the multi-tenant building closest to the intersection of the Highway 290 feeder road and South Chappell Hill Street.  The store will join MOD Pizza, Buff City Soap, James Avery and Great Clips.

Six new homes were permitted in June for $798,505.  A total of 61 homes have been permitted thus far in 2023 for $8,141,203.

Twenty-five permits were issued by the city last month, equal to the amount issued in June 2022.  However, last month’s permits came out to $1,695,441 in value, less than the $1,940,893 in June of last year.

Through the year to this point, 193 permits have been taken out for $20,515,996.  After the first six months of 2022, 223 permits were issued for $31,080,595.
