The Wallis Police Department is seeking the whereabouts of a murder suspect.
Police say at approximately 11:30 Sunday morning that a male suspect entered property in the 6600 block of Guyler Street, where he shot a man that was living there once in the chest. The victim was flown by helicopter to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Authorities later identified the suspect as Heriberto Silva, who is said to have been living in the Beasley area in Fort Bend County. Police obtained a felony murder warrant for Silva, who is still at large after they say he fled the scene in a gray or silver sedan.
