WASHINGTON CO. EMS PRESENTS TIPS TO BEAT THE SUMMER HEAT

With temperatures climbing into the mid and upper 100’s this weekend, it’s extremely important for everyone to stay cool.

Washington County EMS Medical Director Dr. William Loesch urges everyone to be careful and take necessary precautions during this heat wave.

If anyone is travelling this weekend, Dr. Loesch cautions against staying in the car, especially if it’s not running.

Many people forget about sunscreen when they go out, but it’s crucial to take advantage of the protection it provides.

Finally, hydration is essential when working in these kinds of conditions.

KWHI urges everyone to please stay safe this weekend.
