WM PENN ROAD IN WASHINGTON CO. TO BE CLOSED TUESDAY FOR WORK ON CULVERTS

  

The Washington County Road and Bridge Department will be closing a portion of William Penn Road tomorrow (Tuesday) for roadwork.

William Penn Road will be closed from the intersection of Little York Lane and State Highway 105 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., for road culvert replacements.

William Penn Road is east of Independence, off of Highway 105 headed towards Navasota.

Drivers are asked to proceed with care, observe all signs and find an alternate route.  All work is weather permitting.

  1. Does this mean they are gonna repair all the pot holes that make the road impossible to drive down safely. I have had to extend my commute to work because I can no longer afford to get alignments due to dropping my tire in them heading to work before sunrise.
