BODY FOUND AT GAS STATION NEAR CALDWELL WALMART

  

Authorities in Burleson County are investigating, after a body was found in the parking lot of a Caldwell gas station.

Wednesday, law enforcement officials responded to a medical call at the Conoco gas station, near the parking lot of the Caldwell Walmart.  When they arrived, they found a man’s body in a vehicle.

The man, said to be in his 50s and from Liberty Hill, northwest of Austin, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Two dogs were also found inside the vehicle, but authorities said they were okay.

The body has been sent for autopsy.  Officials do not suspect foul play, and say there is no danger to the public.
