BRENHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT’S “NO-SHAVE NOVEMBER” RAISES $3,000

  

The Brenham Police Department’s “No-Shave November” can certainly be considered a success after the effort raised $3,000 for a local charity.

Sgt. Justin Schiller proposed the idea of letting officers pay, or get sponsors, to grow beards for two months with the money being donated to Adam's Angels Ministry.

Founder of Adam's Angels, Donna Culliver, says the amount of money raised overwhelmed her:

Adam’s Angels Ministry offers care and support to families with children fighting cancer. The organization also works to raise funds for cancer research.
