WELLMANN NAMED ALL-AMERICAN

Former Brenham Cubettes, Blinn Buc and St. Mary’s softball star Sydney Wellmann has been named All-American.

Wellmann has been named a third team All-American by the National Collegiate Fastpitch Coaches Association.

Wellmann, hit .363 this season, while leading the Rattlers with 16 home runs and 65 RBIs, and had a .526 on-base percentage.

Wellmann was also named the Heartland Conference Player of the Year.

Wellmann was also named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week three times and the national hitter of the week twice.
