FORMER GOOD MORNING AMERICA ANCHOR TO SPEAK AT LUNCHEON
Former Good Morning, America co-anchor Joan Lunden will speak at the 13th Annual Surviving and Thriving Luncheon put on by the Pink Alliance, on Thursday, October 8th at 11:30 am the College Station Hilton.
Lunden’s book, “Had I Known,” will touch on her career and her cancer battle. She was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in June of 2014, and underwent treatment.
She also as a website called “Alive” which is dedicated to people dealing with breast cancer.
The speech is sponsored by Kay and Britt Rice.
