PROPERTY VALUES SEE INCREASE OVER 2014 TOTALS
The Washington County Appraisal District have valued property in the county, with almost all of the taxing entities seeing an increase in property values.
Every three years the appraisal districts are require to do re-evaluations county-wide, and this year was the year for Washington County.
Most of the increases are due to new construction, with Washington County and Blinn College going over the three billion dollar mark for total property values, with a total of $3,156,392,932. This is before property freezes deductions.
In 2014, the total for the county was $2,937,406,960.
The total property values for Blinn College for this year comes to $3,193,664,829, which is an increase from last year’s $2,973,046,659.

Burton school district — $424,251,591, down slightly from $429,470,802
Brenham School district — $2,553,818,312 up from $2,400,589,548
City of Brenham — $1,188,742,237, up from $1,101,628,4480
City of Burton — $22,488,227,up from $20,487,309.
