AUSTIN COUNTY PUTS BURN BAN IN PLACE

  

The Austin County Commissioners Court has approved a Burn Ban for the County.

This ban prohibits outdoor burning or restricting outdoor burning, and a violation of this ban is a Class C misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500

Austin County joins Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Lee, Leon, Madison, Robertson, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and Waller Counties who also have bans in their counties.
