BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH CLASS HOSTS POETRY NIGHT
The Brenham High School AP English Literature and Composition class is hosting Poetry Night.
The community is invited to attend a Poetry Night hosted by Mrs. Knebel’s class on Wednesday, April 13th from 7:00 pm to 8:00pm in the Brenham High School courtyard. Brenham High School students will perform and a special appearance will be made by author and native Brenhamite Connie Strong.
Connie is a member of the Poetry Society of Texas and has been published in Texas Coop Power, Horseback Magazine, Independent Music Awards, Texas Music Magazine, and Texas Farm and Home and Postcards Magazine.
There will be an open mic opportunity for students and community members who would like to participate in the evening. If you are interested in reading during the open mic session, contact Mrs. Rosemary Knebel at rknebel@brenhamk12.net or 979-277-3800 by Friday.
Poetry readings will be limited to 3 minutes.
