TXDOT RELEASES LIST OF BRAZOS VALLEY ROAD CLOSINGS

  

State roads closed due to the heavy rains as of 5 pm Monday:

Washington:

FM 1155 closed at New Year’s Creek
FM 2502 closed due to culvert washout
FM 1371  from Armstrong school road to the county line

Leon:

FM 1848 closed at Buffalo Creek

Milam:

FM 1915N at Big elm creek
FM 1915S at Little river
FM 1600 at Little river
FM 2269 at Big elm creek
FM 485 at North elm creek
FM 437 at Little River and Donahue creek
FM 2227 at Pond Creek
FM 487 at San Gabriel River
FM 908 at Brushy creek
FM 486 at Brushy creek
FM 1915 @ Lipan creek; pavement damage
FM 1600 @ Bear/Little bear creek; pavement damage
FM 485 @ North elm creek; pavement damage

Grimes:

FM 1774 at Caney Creek (Buff Lake bottom) is closed.
FM 362 at Beason Creek closed
FM 3090 at Coleman Bottom is closed.

At this time there were no reported flooded state maintained roads in Brazos, Burleson, Madison, Robertson, and Walker Counties.  Crews will continue to check roadways for flooding throughout the day and night.  TxDOT anticipates the above roads will be closed into tomorrow.
