BURTON HIGH SCHOOL TO HOLD HOMECOMING TAILGATE

  

Burton High School has announced plans for a Homecoming Tailgate prior to this year’s annual Homecoming Football Game.

The Homecoming Tailgate will be held on Wednesday, September 30, beginning at 6pm with a parade through Downtown Burton.

The theme is “Home Sweet Homecoming: These Boots Were Made for Winning.”

Organizations, sports teams, clubs, and local businesses are invited to enter floats in the parade that are western-themed, or have plenty of Burton Panther Pride.

Entries forms are due by Friday, September 25.

After the parade, there will be a community pep rally at 6:30pm at Panther Stadium.

The evening concludes with a Hamburger Tailgate meal at 7pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance by scanning the QR Code.

The Burton Panthers will be hosting the Bartlett Bulldogs for the Homecoming Game on Friday October 2 at 7pm. KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 6:30pm on 1280AM, 101.7FM, and KWHI.com.
