BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS TO HEAR FROM HERITAGE MUSEUM

The Brenham Board of Adjustments will consider two variance requests when they meet Monday at City HallBRENHAM CITY HALL.

The Brenham Heritage Museum is requesting to reduce the required on-site parking for their property at 313 E. Alamo Street. If the museum were to meet the ordinance as it stands now it would require 10 parking spaces. The museum says that the useable area for parking allows for a maximum of 8 spaces, thus they have made a special exception request.

The Board will also hear from Westbrook Storage. The storage facility is requesting to reduce the required on-site parking for a new addition to an existing storage facility. If the facility was to meet the ordinance requirement of one space per 1,000 sq. ft., a significant number of increased parking spaces would be required for all the new and additional warehouse or mini storage space being constructed.

The Brenham Board of Adjustments will meet at City Hall at 5:15 p.m. in the second floor council chambers.
