Members of the Brenham Cub varsity football team assisted teachers at Alton Elementary this (Friday) morning in the car line area. The players helped with the unloading of students and directing them safely to the building. Many of the young students were surprised to the players in their game jerseys helping them out of their cars. The Brenham Cubs are off this week due to the fair, but return to the gridiron next Friday for the Homecoming game against Magnolia West.
