KRUSE VILLAGE THANKS FIRST RESPONDERS WITH PANCAKE BREAKFAST

First Responders of Washington County enjoyed a free pancake breakfast today (Monday) thanks to Kruse Village.

Firefighters, EMS, and police officers alike showed up to take part in the breakfast buffet this morning. The event, put on by Kruse Village, was an opportunity to show thanks for all the work that the Washington County First Responders put into the community.

According to Kruse Village Activities Director, Shannon Smith, they wanted to recognize everything the First Responders do to keep citizens safe:

Smith went on to say that the residents at Kruse Village were happy to lend the dining hall to the First Responders for the event. Sheriff Otto Hanak, who enjoyed the breakfast along with his crew, says that events like these are humbling:

This is the first year that the Pancake Breakfast has taken place. Smith says she hopes that Kruse Village will be able to make this an annual event in the future.
