ATWOOD KENJURA RETURNS HOME FROM AUSTIN HOSPITAL

  

Brenham businessman Atwood Kenjura has returned home after being treated for heart problems at a hospital in Austin.

Kenjura was at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin after he collapsed from cardiac arrest last Sunday morning. Kenjura was preparing to watch his daughter run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure near downtown Austin when he collapsed shortly before 8 a.m. A pace maker and defibrillator have been implanted in his chest to prevent future problems.

Kenjura is the owner of Kenjura Pharmacy in downtown Brenham. In addition, he is active on many boards in Brenham including Blinn College, Baylor Scott & White Hospital and the Brenham Community Development Corporation.
