LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN GENERAL ELECTION

  

Today (Tuesday) is the last day for residents to register to vote in the general election.

Residents may register in person at their county’s Voter Registrar’s office or by mail by obtaining an application from the Voter Registrar’s office. Applications are also available at libraries and government offices. A voter registration application can be found on Washington County’s website or at vote.gov/register/tx. Applications must be postmarked by today.

In Washington County, early voting will take place October 24th through November 4th at the Courthouse Annex, located at 100 S. Park in Brenham.

Applications to vote by mail are available at co.washington.tx.us. They may be mailed to 100 E. Main, Ste. 105, Brenham, TX  77833, faxed to - 979-277-6213 or emailed to cjackson@wacounty.com. Applications to vote by mail are due in office no later October 28th.
