BURTON ISD INVITES PUBLIC TO ACCOUNTABILITY INTERVENTION MEETING

  

The Burton ISD is inviting the public to attend a meeting concerning the Texas Accountability Intervention System Plan before the district's regular school board meeting on Monday.

The Texas Accountability Intervention System (TAIS) is designed to establish the foundational systems, actions, and processes to support the continuous improvement of Texas school districts and campuses. The public is welcome to give comments during the meeting at 5:30 at the Burton ISD Administration Office.

During their regular meeting at 5:45 p.m., the Board of Trustees for the Burton Independent School District will discuss a disaster reappraisal of properties located in the district.

The Washington County Appraisal District has requested the reappraisal of properties located within the declared disaster area in the Burton ISD, resulting from the May 2016 flooding.

Both meetings will take place  at the Burton ISD Administration Office, located at 701 North Railroad Street in Burton.
