FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO GARAGE FIRE NEAR FLATONIA

  

The Flatonia Fire Department responded to a garage fire Thursday night.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 6 p.m. Thursday reporting a structure fire on Burke Road in Flatonia. The Flatonia Fire Department responded and when they arrived on the scene, they found a garage was fully engulfed in a fire.

The Flatonia Fire Department requested assistance from the Muldoon Fire Department. The fire was contained and extinguished with no reported injuries. Authorities believe a window fan may have caused the fire.
