ARRESTS MADE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY DISTURBANCE
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has announced numerous arrests after an investigation into an alleged assault October 9th, north of Chappell Hill, and a disturbance one week later on Hendrickson Lane.
On the 9th deputies arrested 18-year old Darius Stephan Jones of Chappell Hill and a 16-year old Brenham juvenile on misdemeanor assault charges.
On the 16th, deputies report three people were injured in a disturbance involving mostly Brenham High School students.
According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, one person was taken to Scott & White Hospital by EMS ambulance; a second was taken by private vehicle; and a third was treated at the scene.
After what Hanak says was an extensive investigation, warrants were issued numerous arrests:
36-year old Alma Susana Tabuyo of Chappell Hill is charged with Inciting a Riot and is free on $100,000 bond.
18-year old Darius Stephan Jones of Chappell Hill is charged with Aggravated Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Inciting a Riot and Retaliation. He is currently in the Washington County Jail with bonds totaling $250,000.
19-year old Julas Antonio Najera of Brenham is charged with Inciting a Riot and misdemeanor asssult. He is currently free on $102,500 bond.
17-year old Dathan Stephen Jones of Chappell Hill is charged with Retaliation and Inciting a Riot. He remains in custody with bonds in the amount of $150,000.
Hanak also reports four juveniles have also been charged in relation to the disturbance. Charges include: Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Retaliation and Riot.
All of the juvenile offenders were processed through the Washington County Juvenile Probation Office.
