FAYETTE COUNTY DEPUTY MAKES DRUG AND WEAPONS ARREST
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office had another drug and weapons arrest after a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
Deputy Rick Bohlmann was working traffic on IH 10 near Schulenburg when he stopped a vehicle for traveling in excess of the posted limit. Inside the vehicle was Patrick Allan Daly II, 29, of Martindale and Megan Nicole Paine, 28, of San Antonio.
Bohlmann ran a license and warrant check on the Daly, which later revealed he had a suspended license and an outstanding arrest warrant out of Brazos County. Bohlmann later ran a check on the Paine, which revealed an outstanding controlled substance warrant on her from Bexar County.
Bohlmann continued his investigation and the subjects were later found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The deputy also discovered a loaded 9mm handgun in the glove compartment of the vehicle.
Daly was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon along with the Brazos County Warrant. Paine was charged with possession of marijuana and the Bexar County Warrant
