INVESTIGATORS STILL TRYING TO IDENTIFY CHILD’S BODY FOUND IN MADISON COUNTY
Investigators in Madison County are still trying to identify a child who was dumped along the side of Interstate 45 last September.
Last month the Madison County Sheriff’s Office released details of an autopsy report with the hope someone would come forward about the child’s identity.
Since the child’s remains were mostly skeletal by the time they were discovered, investigators say the autopsy didn’t reveal much information- including the race and sex of the child.
Authorities do know, based on dental records, the child was between the ages of 3 and 5. The child also had a feeding tube that was surgically implanted. The child was also found wearing a pink dress and a disposable diaper.
Anyone with any information that could help identify the child is asked to call 936-348-2755.
