KTEX 106 ‘BIRTHDAY BASH’ HAPPENING SUNDAY
KTEX 106’s huge ‘Birthday Bash’ celebration is just around the corner.
The 25th anniversary party will be Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Zapp Hall in Warrenton, located at 4217 South Highway 237.
KTEX began broadcasting on Texas Independence Day, 1992. Since then the radio station has flourished, providing 25 years of contemporary country music to the Brazos Valley.
Food will be available from Royers Round Top Café, drinks from the Beer and Wine Garden, and of course- there will be Texas country music.
Two stages will feature continuous music from Rich O’Toole, Will Carter, Kylie Frey, Dustin Sonnier, Austin Meade, Jake Worthington, Jamie Richards, Kimberly Dunn, and many more.
Best of all, the party is free and open to the public.
“We wanted to throw a birthday party to celebrate with the community” says Tom Whitehead, President and General Manager of KTEX.
“For 25 years, the listeners in the Brazos Valley have helped build KTEX to what it is today. The “Birthday Bash” is a chance for us all to get together and celebrate 25 years of great country music.”
