OVER $1.9 MILLION IN BUILDING PERMITS ISSUED IN APRIL

  

Over $1.9 million in building permits were issued for the city of Brenham during the month of April.

The largest building permit issued was to Ellis Custom Homes, LLC for $578,600.

Thielemann Construction was issued two large permits for residences- one for $510,000 and another for $331,089.

Stylecraft Builders, the company planning on building a new housing development off of Highway 36 in Brenham, was issued two permits for new residences- totaling $191,280.

An $180,400 Building permit was issued to Bains Holdings for an interior remodel of the Social Security office.

The amount of building permits issued so far in 2017 totals $12,221,546, which is well behind last year’s pace of $24,514,242.

The difference between the years can be attributed to the $9.8 million building permit issued for the new Recreation Center at Blinn College in April of 2016.
