KIDS SHOW OFF THEIR HERITAGE WITH DAIRY COWS AT DAIRY DAY

While many kids were sleeping in on the first official day of summer, a bunch of youngsters from Washington County were showing off their connection to their heritage by participating in this mornings (Saturday’s) Dairy Day at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Taking place in barn 2, 4-H and AgriLife joined together to put the Dairy Day on. There was livestock judging, and a 4-H dairy judging team, educational shows, and more.

At noon, the parents and students of the 4-H dairy judging team prepared a BBQ chicken lunch with all of the side trimmings to raise money for their team.
KWHI’s own Craig Montana was broadcasting live from the event.
