PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO LOOK AT SUBDIVISION PLATS
Plans for several new subdivisions in and around the City of Brenham will be reviewed by the Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission Monday evening.
A 102 lot subdivision on 86 acres, called Vintage Farms, is being planned near the intersection of Dixie Road and State Highway 36 North. Another is planned on 51 acres at 4350 State Highway 36 South called The MCJ Division. A 37 lot subdivision is being formed on 24 acres of property at the southeast corner of Cantey Street and Gun and Rod Road, to be called Heritage Oaks. 33 acres of property owned by First Baptist Church of Brenham at the northeast intersection of South Market Street and Cantey Street is being subdivided. And a pair of lots in the Post Oak Grove Addition bounded by State Highway 105, East Blue Bell Road, Simon Avenue and Williams Avenue are being replatted.
The Brenham Planning and Zoning Commission will consider these proposed changes when they meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. in City Council Chambers on the second floor of the City Municipal Building.
