RED RIBBON WEEK AT BRENHAM SCHOOLS
The Brenham Independent School District celebrating “Red Ribbon Week 2017” this week, and today (Monday) is “Red Out!”
Students at Brenham schools are encouraged to wear red today (Monday) in support of “Red Ribbon Week”. Each day of the week has a different theme to promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. Tuesday is “Sock it to Drugs”, with crazy socks. On Wednesday students should wear camouflage to “Join the Fight Against Drugs!”. Wear your favorite cap on Thursday to “Put a Cap on Drugs!”. And next Friday, of course, wear your Cub green because “Cubs Don’t Do Drugs!”
BISD is encouraging parents to join their kids in dressing up, and in discussing the important message of living a healthy, drug-free life.
