EMS ITEMS TOP AGENDA FOR MEETING OF WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Commissioners will hear two items concerning Washington County EMS, Tuesday.

Washington County EMS will be the focus of several items on the agenda for the County Commissioners Court meeting, set for Tuesday morning.

Commissioner are expected to approve an extension of a contract between the county and Revenue Optimization Solutions. The company provides services, maintaining the county’s EMS as an approved provider in the Texas Ambulance Supplemental Payment Program.

Also, commissioners will consider a generator-powered module for the department.

The current budget includes funds for a new unit, which would include a generator which would not draw electricity from the unit itself.

Also on the agenda, the commissioners are expected to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Brazos Valley Council of Government’s Transportation Partnership Program to provide service to county residents.

They will also hear the audit of the District Attorney’s asset forfeitures from County Auditor Sharon Stolz.

The Washington County Commissioner Court meets Tuesday morning at 9:00, at the Washington County Courthouse.
