BRENHAM HEB STORE TO OFFER CURBSIDE PICKUP
Brenham’s HEB store will soon be adding curbside pickup to their list of services. Customers will be able to select and pay for items online and have them waiting for them when they get to the store. Local HEB manager Larry Hargis explains:
Hargis says they hope to have the curbside pickup available by mid-April. HEB plans to add about 20 employees to handle the process. Hargis explains where the curbside pickup area will be located:
A $5 service fee will be added to each order for the service.
Another service that Brenham’s HEB store has added in recent years is officers providing traffic control during holidays on South Day Street. Hargis explains how this came about:
The traffic control times are posted so that any off duty officer in the county can apply for the extra hours. HEB pays for all of the costs for the officers. Hargis say they plan on continuing to provide traffic control officers during holidays and special events, with the next time being Super Bowl Sunday. He said that that officers will also be directing traffic on Easter, Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
