CANDIDATE FORUMS SET IN AUSTIN COUNTY

  

The Austin County GOP has announced a pair of public forums for the five Republican candidates for State Representative of District 13.

Tomorrow (Thursday) night at 7 p.m. the Austin County GOP will host the five District 13 candidates during their regular monthly meeting at Tony’s Family Restaurant in Sealy.  The five Republican candidates include Jill Wolfskill of Bellville, Marc S. Young of Sealy, David K. Stall of Fayetteville, Ben Leman of Navasota and Daniel McCarthy of Brenham.

The Austin County GOP will host a second candidate’s forum on Thursday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the historic Turnverein at the Austin County
Fairgrounds in Bellville.  Both meetings are open to the public, but only Republican candidates for State Representative of District 13 have been invited to participate in the forums.

KWHI radio is planning its own forum specifically for the State Rep candidates, which will also include Democratic candidate Cecil Webster of Carmine.  Details of that forum, along with another for local Washington County candidates, will be announced soon by KWHI.
