WALKER CO. MAN ADDED TO STATE’S “MOST WANTED” SEX OFFENDERS

The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a convicted sex offender with ties to Walker County to their most wanted sex offender list.
DPS Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of 43-year-old Shawn Monroe Cowan.
Back in March of 2011, Cowan was convicted of indecency with a child in Huntsville.
His last known address was in Beaumont, where he registered as a sex offender in May 2017, but as-of-today his whereabouts are unknown.
