BRYAN MAN SENTENCED FOR INJURY TO A CHILD

A Bryan man has been sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to Injury to a Child.
30-year old British Williams was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend’s 6-year old child.
In May of 2014, the child appeared at school with bruises to his face. A concerned staff-member contacted CPS, which initiated an investigation.
The child disclosed that he was physically abused by Williams, who he says repeatedly hit him and strangled him.
The victim missed numerous days of school due to his injuries.
According to authorities, Williams’ criminal history includes prior probations in the State of Oregon for Riot, Assault, and Harassment.
The case was investigated by CPS and the Bryan Police Department.
