BRENHAM HOME SUSTAINS FIRE DAMAGE MONDAY
A Brenham home sustained heavy fire damage Monday evening.
The Brenham Fire Department was called to a home in the 500 block of Sandra Drive, just after 6:00 p.m., Monday.
The department found the home’s kitchen heavily involved in flames. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and removed the smoke from the home.
The kitchen sustained heavy fire damage and there was smoke damage to the rest of the home.
The cause of the fire was unattended cooking on the kitchen stove.
No one was injured in the fire.
