BRENHAM MAN CHARGED AFTER CAR STRIKES HOME

A Brenham man faces charges after his vehicle struck a house, Monday evening.
21-year old Richard Mehr of Brenham was charged with Driving While Intoxicated after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a home in the 1700 block of West Main Street.
Police were called out just before 10:00 p.m. Officer Kejan Mehlhorn reports that the Mehr lost control, ran off the road and struck the house.
Mehr was taken into custody and booked into the Washington County Jail on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
